Chilli and Pepper Vodka

Fiery, spicy, striking and elegant – a long-forgotten recipe from the time of the Tsars has now been revived. An especially pure vodka that is nicely sharp and smooth – a remarkable composition whose softly blazing flame will sensually kindle your inner-fire, keeping it warm and aglow. An incomparable pleasure the whole year round. Whether for a cosy winter evening, or for a special occasion – these exquisite drops should not be missing.

Grappa

Several generations have contributed their secrets and experience to help create these delicious specialty grappas. Recipes long thought lost were combined with modern discoveries to produce a work of art for the palate. A great deal of patience, a high sensitivity for the requirements of such a sublime drop, and the greatest of care are all needed to create an outstanding grappa.

Aquavit

The meaning of the word “aquavit” comes from the latin Aqua Vitae (water of life). Around 700 years ago an alchemist and a medical doctor of french extraction gave the fiery drink its name, after having created it from the distillation of wine. And the great popularity of that Aqua Vitae’s wonderful effect has spread rapidly throughout the whole of the western world.

And although Aquavit may neither give life, nor promise eternal youth to those who savour it, the undeniable effect it has on the digestion of an opulent meal, which stems from the most important essences of caraway and aniseed, is unbeatable.

Liqueurs

Although it may be true that it is not difficult to hand produce a liqueur, there is nevertheless an art to creating a really good liqueur; and we are devoted practioners of this art.

The high standards that the house of Michelsen has apply not only to the liqueurs manufactured according to our own recipes by us, but also, naturally, to those of other producers.

It requires the finest, most valuable raw materials, an adequate measure of experience and an exceptional formula, in addition to a not insignificant amount of patience and time to create an exquisite liqueur. The required touch, which some call intuition, is likewise indispensible.

Goldrush

Peach liqueur with 22 carat gold leaf. An extremely special indulgence which is served with sparkling wine. An elegant, delicious drink that impresses not only with its taste, but also with its shimmering appearance.

Our aperitif tip: ice-cold – ideally on the rocks – served in a designer glass, with fresh fruit to underline or complement the flavour.
